Warranty

Standard vehicles come with a 3 months standard warranty with option to extend up-to 42 months with optional extras also.

Modified vehicles come with a 3 months warranty that only covers standard vehicle parts.

We do not cover wear and tear items nor DPF/EGR/CATALYTIC CONVERTERS

Any vehicle taken to a unauthorised garage for work will VOID the warranty
Any modifications will VOID the warranty
Any change of owner/keeper will also VOID the warranty

We can never guarantee the length of time needed to repair the vehicle however we will aim to repair and return the vehicle within the shortest possible time, We do not issue courtesy cars.

All work is to be carried out at our premises unless authorised otherwise.

Please be aware that it is your responsibility to maintain and service the vehicle after sale.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – VEHICLE INVOICES

1. GENERAL

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all vehicle sales and invoices issued by Wheel City Motors LTD (“the Seller”) to the purchaser (“the Buyer”).
1.2 By placing an order, paying a deposit, or accepting an invoice, the Buyer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 No variation to these terms shall be valid unless confirmed in writing by Wheel City Motors LTD.



2. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

2.1 The vehicle supplied is as described on the invoice and any accompanying sales documentation.
2.2 The Buyer acknowledges that the vehicle has been inspected and test-driven to their satisfaction prior to purchase.
2.3 While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, Wheel City Motors LTD cannot be held responsible for minor errors or omissions in descriptions, specifications, or advertised details.
2.4 Mileage readings are recorded as displayed and cannot be guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.



3. PRICING

3.1 The invoice price is the total amount payable for the vehicle and any additional items specifically listed.
3.2 Any extras, accessories, warranties, or services not listed on the invoice are not included in the sale.
3.3 Wheel City Motors LTD reserves the right to correct any clerical or administrative pricing errors prior to delivery of the vehicle.



4. PAYMENT TERMS

4.1 Full and cleared payment must be received before the vehicle is released to the Buyer.
4.2 Accepted payment methods are:
• Bank transfer
• Debit card
• Cash (subject to legal limits)
• Approved motor finance

4.3 Credit cards are not accepted under any circumstances.
4.4 Deposits are strictly non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing by Wheel City Motors LTD.
4.5 Any outstanding balance after the agreed collection date may incur storage or administration fees at the Seller’s discretion.



5. FINANCE PURCHASES

5.1 Where the vehicle is purchased using finance, the sale is subject to approval and payout by the finance provider.
5.2 The vehicle remains the property of the finance company until the finance agreement has been settled in full.
5.3 The Buyer authorises Wheel City Motors LTD to share necessary personal and transaction information with finance providers to facilitate the agreement.
5.4 Failure of finance approval may result in cancellation of the order and forfeiture of any deposit paid.



6. OWNERSHIP AND RISK

6.1 Title to the vehicle shall remain with Wheel City Motors LTD until full payment has been received and cleared.
6.2 Risk in the vehicle passes to the Buyer upon collection or delivery.
6.3 The Buyer is responsible for arranging insurance cover from the moment the vehicle is handed over.



7. WARRANTY – 3 MONTH IN-HOUSE WARRANTY

7.1 Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, retail vehicles are supplied with a 3-month in-house warranty provided directly by Wheel City Motors LTD.
7.2 The warranty covers mechanical and electrical faults occurring within the warranty period, subject to the exclusions listed below.
7.3 The warranty is valid only for the named Buyer and is non-transferable.
7.4 Any repairs must be authorised by Wheel City Motors LTD in advance. Unauthorised repairs will not be reimbursed.
7.5 The Buyer must report any fault immediately and allow reasonable opportunity for inspection and repair by Wheel City Motors LTD.



8. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The following are specifically excluded from all warranty cover:

8.1 Normal wear and tear items including, but not limited to:
• Tyres
• Brakes and brake components
• Clutches
• Batteries
• Exhaust systems
• Bulbs
• Wiper blades
• Filters, fluids, and routine service items

8.2 Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and catalytic converters are expressly excluded from any warranty cover.

8.3 Faults caused by:
• Misuse, neglect, or accident
• Lack of maintenance
• Failure to service the vehicle in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Vehicle modifications or non-standard parts
• Overheating or continued use after a fault becomes apparent

8.4 Diagnostic charges where no mechanical or electrical fault is found.



9. “SOLD AS SEEN” OR TRADE SALES

9.1 Vehicles sold as “Trade Sale,” “Part Exchange Clearance,” or “Sold as Seen” are supplied without any warranty.
9.2 In such cases the Buyer accepts the vehicle in its current condition with all faults, if any.
9.3 These vehicles are not covered by the 3-month in-house warranty.



10. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

10.1 Vehicles are non-returnable and non-refundable once collected or delivered.
10.2 Any issues must be reported to Wheel City Motors LTD in writing within a reasonable period to allow the opportunity to inspect and rectify.
10.3 Nothing in these terms affects the Buyer’s statutory consumer rights under UK law.



11. PART EXCHANGE VEHICLES

Where a vehicle is taken in part exchange, the Buyer warrants that:

11.1 They are the legal owner of the vehicle.
11.2 The vehicle is free from outstanding finance, liens, or encumbrances.
11.3 The mileage, condition, and history have been accurately represented.
11.4 The vehicle has not been written off or subject to an insurance total loss unless declared.

11.5 Wheel City Motors LTD reserves the right to amend or withdraw any part-exchange valuation if the information supplied is found to be incorrect or misleading.



12. DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

12.1 Any delivery or collection dates given are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
12.2 Wheel City Motors LTD is not liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.
12.3 Vehicles must be collected within 7 days of being ready for handover unless otherwise agreed in writing.



13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

13.1 Wheel City Motors LTD shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the sale or use of the vehicle.
13.2 Liability for any claim shall be limited to the original purchase price of the vehicle.
13.3 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights which cannot be excluded under UK consumer law.



14. DATA PROTECTION

14.1 Wheel City Motors LTD will process the Buyer’s personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR.
14.2 Information may be shared with finance companies, warranty administrators, and regulatory bodies where necessary to complete the transaction.



15. GOVERNING LAW

15.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
